We seek motivated scholars with a strong interest in pursuing a degree in medicine or pharmacy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a desire to learn, a strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for healthcare.


As an intern, you will be exposed to the daily operations of a retail mail-order and specialty pharmacy.


You will work closely with our pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to:


  • Assist with fulfilling medication orders accurately and efficiently
  • Learn about the process of dispensing medications and ensuring patient safety
  • Gain exposure to medication inventory management and stock control
  • Observe and participate in pharmacy consultations, providing an opportunity to understand patient communication and care
  • Assist in preparing prescription orders and understanding medication labeling and instructions
  • Learn about pharmacy-related regulations and standards, ensuring compliance with laws and policies

Prerequisites:

  • Must have a high school diploma
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Baby Gold is a Fine Jewelry brand based in Los Angeles. Our HQ employs over 90 people. We have many departments, including Design and Development, Production, Marketing, Social Media, Customer Service, and Website development.


Responsibilities:

Content Creator for Social media Platforms

Content for Paid ads & Digital Marketing

Assist in Photoshoots (if the timing of the internship permits)

Assisting in return processing or Customer service needs

Assisting with New design organization

Involvement in procedures of product launches

Inventory & Planning

Working on website copy and content

Competitor Analysis & Data Collection

Gourjian Law is a business and real estate-focused law firm based in Glendale, CA. We are seeking 1-2 summer interns who will handle general office and administrative duties, conduct online research, and write memos regarding various legal topics. Interns will also learn the firm's legal case management software and assist office staff in case and file processing.

 

Prerequisites:

  • 16 years of age or older
  • Must add value to the firm. 
  • Complete tasks in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Hard working and positive attitude.

 

Timeframe: 

  • 1 month summer program

Responsibilities:


Office Support: Assisting with general office duties such as answering phones, greeting patients, and managing patient check-in/check-out.

Sterilization & Setup: Helping to prepare treatment rooms by setting up necessary instruments, ensuring they are sterilized, and maintaining cleanliness.

Patient Interaction: Observing and occasionally assisting in basic patient care (under supervision), like helping patients feel comfortable or handing instruments to the dental team during procedures.

Record Keeping: Assisting with filing and organizing patient records, both physical and digital, ensuring they are up-to-date and properly filed.

Learning Opportunity: Shadowing the dental team during patient procedures to gain insight into dental treatments and office operations.

Inventory Assistance: Helping with inventory management, such as organizing dental supplies or assisting in restocking items.


This type of internship would aim to provide students with exposure to a professional environment and give them an introduction to basic dental office tasks and the responsibilities of a dental team.


Prerequisites:

  • 16 years of age or older.
  • A genuine interest in dental and a desire to learn more about the profession.
  • Good interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and office staff.
  • A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Flexible availability to work after school or on weekends, depending on the office's needs.
  • Parental Permission: Written permission from a parent or guardian to participate in the internship.
