Below I have attached 2 practice FRQs for each day of office hours next week. Each FRQ is labeled with the day which I will be reviewing them. Again, this is completely optional but, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Sorry to bother you all on a Saturday, but I wanted to let you know that the exam demo is ready to be used. To test it out, go to: cb.org/apdemo
Everyone must test this out! On exam day, you will not be able to upload a document from google drive. You can either copy and paste your response OR save it as a pdf and upload the file.

Attached is the sample FRQ. Complete your responses on a separate sheet of paper.

Complete section 2 in the review packet. You will have a quiz on the information on Friday.

I apologize for my absence today, I am sick with the flu. Your exam will be postponed until Friday. For now, please complete the attached worksheet and answer the questions below.
Assignment must be HANDWRITTEN.

1. Why is meiosis and increased genetic diversity necessary for evolution?

2. How has the development of technology allowed us to apply our knowledge of genetics, reproduction, development to evolution?

Complete your notes using the attached powerpoint. You must copy down the last 3 slides that we did not cover in class.

Complete the attached worksheet on a SEPARATE SHEET OF PAPER. Please turn it in to the substitute at the end of the period. Assignments not turned in to the substitute will result in a zero.

For those of you who were absent, please watch the attached videos and write 3 facts that you learned from watching that you didn't already know.

Some of you who did this in class received a zero due to the lack of explanation or detail in your "facts". You will need to re-do the assignment and submit it to me again by Wednesday. You will know who you are tomorrow.

3. What distinguishes a prokaryotic cell from a eukaryotic cell?
5. Why do plants have a cell wall? What is it made up of?
6. What are the different methods of endocytosis? Why do different methods exist?

Please purchase your textbooks as soon as possible. You must read the following pages and take notes on the attached packets. Notes MUST be thorough and detailed with images and examples where necessary. They must also be handwritten. I will check for completion on the first day of class.
