It's pretty easy to find almost any kind of information on the web. However, this doesn't mean that everything you find is factual and correct. Make sure you look at websites with a critical eye.
Almost anyone can put information on the Internet. This means that not every website has factual or even valuable information. When doing research, try to find out as much as you can about the site and its author(s).
Ask yourselves these questions:
1) Who put up this website? Is it someone affiliated with an educational institution? Is clearly on the website? Do they offer you an e-mail to contact them? Can you determine if they are they professionals in their field?
2) How recent is the information?
3) When was the site last updated?
Sometimes there is an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) link on the site that may answer some of your questions.
Be skeptical and do your research. What may be presented as fact may be incorrect.
