New Students

Incoming students from other institutions must fulfill the following requirements in order to be accepted to the middle and high school.

  • A minimum GPA of 2.0 for the last academic year at the former school.
  • If required by the school, satisfactory performance on a grade-level English language and/or mathematics test administered by the School.

  • No history of major disciplinary infractions.

Probationary Admittance

If, at the end of the semester, a student fails to meet any aspect of the criteria delineated above, he or she will be placed on academic probation during the following semester. The student’s probationary status will be fully explained to the parents. The student will not be readmitted to school, if, at the end of the school semester, he or she once again, fails to achieve the minimum academic criteria required by the School and if retention or other alternatives are deemed inappropriate.

Application

Below you will find the application in Adobe Portable Document Format, for your convenience. Please print and complete. Return the application to the Administration at your earliest convenience. In addition to the completion of the application, incoming students must ensure that an official transcript from their outgoing school is mailed to the Pilibos Administration Office. Transcripts must be official and sealed in an envelope. Photocopied, internet versions, and other forms of reprint of the transcript will be considered unofficial and thus unacceptable. A registration fee of $400.00 applies each school year. The registration fee noted on the form must accompany the application.

Tuition

Tuition payments must be made in a timely matter. Payments, in the form of cash, credit card, or check, must be made at the School Accounting Office.

The 2007-2008 tuition for 10 months (September – June) will be $5000.00

Delinquencies in the payment of the tuition will result in a fee. Failure to properly pay the delinquency fees will result in the removal of the student from the school, as specified in the Student Handbook. Re-registration fees will apply.

Financial Assistance and Grants

The Rose & Alex Pilibos Armenian School provides a substantial amount of grants annually to qualified students at a financially disadvantageous position.Applicants who seek financial assistance, must fill out a Financial Discount Application. The Application must be accompanied by additional documents that include but are not limited to tax forms, government public benefits letters, and other supporting material that demonstrate financial need. Please bear in mind that upon submitting the application with supporting documents applicants will be scheduled for an interview with a representative of the School’s Finance Committee.
